Several Surface devices just received fresh firmware updates.
What you need to know
- The Surface Go, Surface Go 2, and Surface Laptop Go have new firmware updates available.
- The updates don't include any new features but do improve performance and address bugs.
- The Surface Laptop and Surface Laptop 2 also received firmware updates recently.
Microsoft is rolling out Surface firmware updates left and right. Last week, the Surface Laptop and Surface Laptop 2 received a firmware update. Now, the Surface Go, Surface Go 2, and Surface Laptop Go all have firmware updates. As is normally the case, the updates don't include any new features. They do, however, improve performance and address issues.
If you have a Surface Go, you'll see the following changes:
