HP's new EliteBooks bump up to 11th Gen Intel vPro graphics and have optional 5G support.

What you need to know

  • HP announced the HP EliteBook 840 G8 Aero, EliteBook x360 1030, and EliteBook x360 1040 G8 at CES 2021.
  • The EliteBook 840 G8 Aero has HP Privacy Camera, optional HP Sure View Reflect, and other security features.
  • The EliteBook 840 G8 should ship in March, and the other EliteBooks should be available this month.

As part of CES 2021, HP announced several new EliteBook laptops. The HP EliteBook 840 G8 Aero should start shipping in March, while the EliteBook x360 1030 and EliteBook x360 1040 G8 are set to come out this month. HP has not shared pricing details for the upcoming EliteBook laptops at this time.

The EliteBook 840 G8 is a 14-inch business laptop with optional 5G support and several security features. It has an HP Privacy Camera and has an option for HP Sure View Reflect, which helps prevent people from spying on your screen.

If you ever lose your EliteBook 840 G8, the laptop has integrated Tile capabilities, which allows you to locate your laptop.

The EliteBook 840 G8 runs on up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with optional vPro.
