Featuring Intel's 11th generation chips in one, and Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8cx Gen2 in the other.

  • HP has announced new 2-in-1 PCs for the enterprise at CES 2021.
  • The HP Elite Folio features a Snapdragon 8xc Gen2 and unique 2-in-1 design.
  • The HP Elite x2 G8 features Intel's 11th-gen chips in a more traditional 2-in-1 form factor.

At CES 2021, HP has announced brand new enterprise-grade 2-in-1 PCs in the form of the Elite x2 G8 and Elite Folio 2-in-1. Both laptops provide a different take on the 2-in-1 form factor, with the Elite x2 G8 featuring a more traditional "Surface Pro" like design with a kickstand and detachable cover, and the Elite Folio 2-in-1 rocking a more traditional laptop design with a screen that can lay forward.

The new Elite x2 G8 features the latest 11th generation Intel processors in i3, i5, and i7 configurations, up to 16GB RAM, and up to a 2TB NVMe SSD for super fast internal storage. There's plenty to like about the HP x2 G8 for businesses, including support for vPro, a super productive 3:2 aspect ratio in either 1920x1280 or 3000x2000 display resolutions, optional 4G LTE, and a HD Privacy Camera.

The HP Elite Folio on the other hand is designed to be a mobile beast, feauting the latest Snapderagon 8cx Gen2 ARM processor with built-in LTE for an always on, always connected experience. It can also be configured with up to 16GB RAM, 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD, and is rocking a 13.5-inch 1920x1280 display with a 3:2 resolution.

HP teased the Elite Folio a few months ago and now we get to see it for the first time.
