How to change your name in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

We can't have beautiful things right now because people can't behave.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is as fun as it is addicting. Taking inspiration from Wipeout, up to 60 players compete in various obstacle courses until one is left standing to take the crown. If you haven't heard of this game yet, I'm not sure where you've been on the internet. You can normally change your username in the PC version, but this feature has been temporarily disabled.

How to change your username in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Only the Steam version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout allows players to create custom usernames, but unfortunately, this feature has been disabled for the time being. People were using exploits to break the UI and block portions of the screen with giant username and display offensive names. Everyone on PC now has generic names that start with "Fall Guy" and a four-digit set of numbers after them. Until the developer can solve this problem and people can behave, we're in timeout.

Those on PS4 will find that their Fall Guys username is their PlayStation Network ID. There is currently no way to change this unless you change your PSN ID entirely.

When changing your name does work on PC, it's as simple as changing your Steam nickname.

1. Click on your profile at the top of the screen.
2. Select Edit Profile.
3. Change your Profile Name.
4. Scroll down and select Save Changes.
