Second Extinction is a first-person shooter where three-players work together to gun down and blow apart hordes of mutated dinosaurs that have taken over the Earth. It's being developed by Systemic Reaction. Today, as a part of IGN's Summer of Gaming event, the developers shared about eleven minutes of pre-beta gameplay.
Bear in mind, this is extremely early development footage, so things aren't as detailed and complex as they could be later on. You can take a look at the gameplay below.
While there's no release date right now, the developers did mention in today's gameplay video that a release date is coming soon, so we'll be on the lookout for that announcement. Whenever Second Extinction does arrive, it's coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
