Forza Horizon 5 features multiple houses that players can own and use, and each one is unique.

As if it wasn't already enough for Forza Horizon 5 to fill its world with countless events, races, challenges, and secrets, Playground Games' open-world racer also features several Player Houses scattered across the map. These homes are safe havens for players, letting them customize their cars, characters, and more while away from the already numerous Festival Sites. FH5 features seven different Player Houses for players to find and obtain, with each one being unique in its own way.

With so many houses to find and obtain, collecting them all can be a daunting task. Here's what you need to know about the Player Houses in Forza Horizon 5.

The best open-world racer

Playground Games has delivered their latest masterpiece with Forza Horizon 5, which features the series' most diverse map and largest car list yet. Forza Horizon 5 somehow fulfills its ambitious promises to be the best open-world racer right now, and one of the best racing games in general.

What is Forza Horizon 5?

The Forza Horizon franchise is a long-running series of open-world racers, culminating in the epic and grandiose Forza Horizon 5 from Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios. To an almost unbelievable degree, Forza Horizon 5 expands upon its predecessor with its largest and most diverse map yet and a car list that includes hundreds upon hundreds of the world's best vehicles and automobiles.

Improvements don't stop there, however, as Forza Horizon 5 proves it's not just another racing game by including innumerable improvements to inclusivity, accessibility, creativity, and much more. This game is frankly absurdly huge, to the point where it features seven individual houses for players to acquire and use throughout their time in-game.

Forza Horizon 5 is absolutely one of the best Xbox racing games ever, and is available to purchase now. Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

In our Forza Horizon 5 review, we concluded that Playground Games had somehow managed to deliver on practically all of its promising, crafting an expansive and embracing world in which almost any player can find a way to have fun. What are Player Houses in Forza Horizon 5?

Forza Horizon 5 features a ton of ways to upgrade, tune, customize, and view your cars and car collection, as well as personalize your in-game character's face, hair, prosthetics, pronouns, clothing, and accessories. All of this and more can be done through one of the six Horizon Festival sites scattered throughout the world, but players can also obtain another way to accomplish these tasks and show off their proficiency at FH5: Player Houses.

There are a total of seven Player Houses in FH5, each of which will look unique and require different methods of unlocking. Since there's a Forza Horizon 5 Achievement and bragging rights on the line in exchange for acquiring all of these houses, players are undoubtedly going to be on the lookout for how to accomplish exactly that.

Forza Horizon 5's Player Houses do more than just sit there and look pretty, however, as each one has a unique perk that makes it useful to players. One Player House may let you fast travel to any road, while another may reveal a hidden Barn Find somewhere on the map. FH5 Player Houses can get expensive fast, but there are still plenty of reasons for players to invest in this in-game real estate.

Where is every Player House in Forza Horizon 5?

With seven Player Houses around the Forza Horizon 5 rendition of Mexico, it's understandably not immediately obvious where every home is located. Forza Horizon 5's Player Houses are all revealed on the map in different ways, and they all have their own unique properties.

Here's every Player House and where it's located in Forza Horizon 5.

Casa Bella

Every player will be gifted one Player House at some point during the beginning of the game, and it's the turning point beyond which players typically have complete unfettered access to the world and its campaign. The house, known as "Casa Bella," is an adorable and modest affair featuring a bright pastel pink color and an incredibly charming boxy design. Honestly, I'd be happy to live here in the real world, and it looks incredible in Forza Horizon 5.

The house is located in the town of Mulegé, and is pretty easy to find. Fortunately, you won't have to look too hard to find it. Once you reach the first Horizon Adventure chapter, which happens after you complete the first Showdown and complete some Accolades (for finishing races, taking pictures, exploring, and more), Ramiro will invite you to Mulegé to begin the next chapter of your journey.

You'll be directed to head straight here, and then Ramiro will generously gift you Casa Bella. Afterward, you'll be able to return to Casa Bella whenever you want and take advantage of all its functions, including checking out your car and character outside (which might make for some great pictures!). Casa Bella also does come with one additional perk, and that is the addition of Skill Songs to Forza Horizon 5's radio stations. A song will play every now and then that will give all your tricks and skills double score, contributing to rewarded Skill Points.

La Casa Solariega

La Casa Solariega is a beautiful mansion, complete with an ornate fountain set in the middle a rotund driveway. This house is understandably quite expensive, coming in at 1.5 million Credits, but players can get their hands on this house for free as part of the Forza Horizon 5 VIP Membership DLC.

Located near the ancient ruins of Teotihuacán, La Casa Solariega grants several awesome perks to those who acquire it, whether you pay the 1.5 million Credits upfront or take advantage of the VIP Membership DLC. You don't have to do anything to make this house appear on your map, as it'll appear automatically after unlocking the Horizon Adventure and obtaining the start Casa Bella home.

The perks included with La Casa Solariega grant you double Forzathon Points, a useful bonus when playing through the Festival Playlist. Forzathon Points are granted when you complete Horizon Arcade events, or Weekly and Daily Challenges, and can be spent at the Forzathon shop for rare cars and other rewards. On top of this, La Casa Solariega also includes five Super Wheelspins and the valuable "Green Crown" cosmetic item. There's a lot here!

Lugar Tranquilo

Lugar Tranquilo is the second DLC house in FH5, and comes as part of the Forza Horizon 5 Welcome Pack DLC. Just like with La Casa Solariega, you can also purchase Lugar Tranquilo flat out if you don't want to pick up the DLC, but it'll cost you a pretty penny. Lugar Tranquilo runs for 700,000 Credits, a more modest asking price that gets you a picture-perfect property on the coast, complete with a custom art mural.

Sharing another similarity with La Casa Solariega, Lugar Tranquilo doesn't require anything special to become available for purchase. After you obtain Casa Bella, the house will automatically appear on the East coast, near the town of Playa Azul. Of course, Lugar Tranquilo includes some additional perks to sweeten the pot. Players will earn a free Super Wheelspin and a new Forza LINK phrase, but the most interesting perk by far is unlocking Horizon Promo.

Horizon Promo is already semi-available before purchasing Lugar Tranquilo, in that the game still keeps track of vehicles you've photographed, but fully unlocking it makes it easier to keep track of which cars you've photographed in your collection (and makes it quicker to do so in the first place). It also gives you rewards for different milestones, incentivizing players to head into Photo Mode any time they pick up a new ride.

Buena Esperanza

Next, we have Buena Esperanza, an environmentally friendly abode that is nestled deep in the Mexican jungle, with the ancient ruins of Ek' Balam peeking out over the cliff edge. This house is quite charming, even if it is situated in an out-of-the-way location that makes it a little frustrating to reach. Being a mid-sized home, Buena Esperanza will set players back 700,000 Credits, and does need to be purchased.

I unlocked Buena Esperanza after completing the Horizon Apex Expedition, which takes place in the jungle and actually travels through Ek' Balam and on to Tulum. Once you've unlocked Buena Esperanza, you can travel back whenever you want to purchase it, adding the home to your collection and picking up some new perks along the way.

Buena Esperanza doesn't include any long-lasting perks like the previous houses I've mentioned, but it does gift you an incredibly rare car (the 1985 Porsche 959 #185 Prodrive Rally Raid), a Super Wheelspin, and the rather comical Chicken Suit cosmetic item. Plus, you can return here at any moment to enjoy looking at your cars with Ek' Balam hovering in the background.

La Cabaña

La Cabaña is a must-have for any Forza Horizon 5 car collectors, because its unassuming appearance and low asking price actually contain a Barn Find rumor that can't be obtained any other way. La Cabaña is by far the most affordable house available to purchase in Forza Horizon 5, coming in at only 150,000 Credits, but it does need to be purchased. Because of its affordable price tag, at least La Cabaña won't break the bank.

I unlocked La Cabaña after completing the Horizon Baja Expedition, and it appeared close by near the west coast. There's nothing to special about the house or its surroundings, but it's easy to get to and even easier to purchase. That's because La Cabaña is actually the source of the 1968 Renault 4L Export Barn Find rumor, a valuable get that will more than make up for the purchase price for many players.

Aside from the Barn Find rumor, La Cabaña also grants an additional Super Wheelspin, which can be used to gain valuable rewards like Credits, cosmetic items, and cars. At the end of the day, though, La Cabaña's value is in the Barn Find rumor contained within.

Buenas Vistas

Buenas Vistas is the second most expensive property in Forza Horizon 5, and it certainly looks the part. This beachfront villa is the dream home for any family, but in FH5 is just another place to stash your cars and use Festival services. Buenas Vistas runs for 2 million Credits, a hefty price tag that is justified by its extremely powerful perk.

I unlocked Buenas Vistas after completing the Horizon Wilds Expedition, and had to drive quite a ways to look at it on the west coast. This property is certainly beautiful, and even features a full interior that you can spot when it lights up at night. While players will certainly appreciate the two free Super Wheelspins that come with Buenas Vistas, it's the other perk that is most lucrative.

Players who purchase Buenas Vistas gain the ability to fast travel to any road on the map instantly, letting players go pretty much anywhere they please without any wait times. You'll still be restricted by fast travel costs, which are reduced (and ultimately eliminated) by fast travel Bonus Boards, but those splashing the cash for Buenas Vistas probably won't be too concerned by fast travel prices in the first place.

Hotel Castillo

The final property in Forza Horizon 5 is none other than Hotel Castillo, a stunning and expansive mansion that huge grounds and (apparently) always-on-site staff. This is for the players with Credits to burn and a desire to show off their accumulated wealth, as Hotel Castillo is also by far the most expensive Player House in FH5. With a price tag asking for a cool 5 million Credits, it's not a simple affair to pick up the keys to Hotel Castillo.

I was allowed to gaze longingly at Hotel Castillo after completing the Horizon Street Scene Expedition, and decided to burn some rubber in my comparatively tiny Dodge Challenger while I was there. Hotel Castillo actually doesn't include the most lucrative perks, certainly not becoming of its monstrous price tag, but there are still niceties for the players willing to lay down the cash.

Firstly, Hotel Castillo grants two free Super Wheelspins to new owners, an expected perk with purchasing a Player House in Forza Horizon 5. However, the main perk of Hotel Castillo is a daily Wheelspin every time you log into Forza Horizon 5, which further rewards the long-term playtime probably necessary to buy Hotel Castillo in the first place.
