Surface accessory bundle saves your $40 at Best Buy

You can save big on Surface accessories right now, but you'll have to click around to get the deal.

Many of the best Surface accessories are discounted right now through Best Buy. To take part in the deal, you have to bundle two accessories together. The Surface Slim Pen, Surface Earbuds, and several Surface mice are available to bundle. Surface accessories normally sell at premium prices, so any time you can get them at a discount is worth a look.

Surface Slim Pen

The Surface Slim Pen fits in your hand comfortably like a carpenter's pencil. If you add it to your cart with another Surface accessory, it will be discounted.

Surface Mobile Mouse

If you add this mouse to your cart with another Surface accessory, it'll get discounted. The Surface Mobile Mouse contours to your hand and comes in vibrant colors.

Getting the discount takes a few more clicks than you might expect. On any Best Buy listing for Surface accessories, you'll see the text "Hot offer save on 2 Select Surface Accessories." Clicking this directs you to a page of the highest-rated bundles. In my testing, all of the suggested bundles are for a pair of Surface Mobile mice. While you certainly could purchase mice in two colors, or a mouse for each hand, you can easily bundle other devices.

At the top of the page, there's an option labeled "Build my Package." This takes you to a page to freely choose which Surface accessories you'd like to bundle. The Surface Mobile Mouse drops down to $15 when bundled. The Surface Slim Pen is only $107 when included in a bundle. Note that the lower prices only appear after you've added them to your package. In my testing, all deals reduce your total by a combined $40.

Getting the deal is more confusing than it should be, but it's a good way to get Surface accessories at a discount. If you're on the hunt for a keyboard, mouse, pen, or charger, it's worth playing around with the package creator.
