As a news writer, I do a lot of typing. But until now, I've done most of that typing on the keyboard of my laptop. Well, enough is enough. So I broke down and decided to get an ergonomic keyboard before Prime Day ends. Luckily, one of the best ergonomic keyboards is on sale.
The Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for Business has a split-key design that helps your wrists rest at a more natural angle. The space in the middle will take some getting used to, but it's worth it since I spend most of my working time typing. The keyboard is on sale for Prime Day for just $57, which is $24 off its already affordable normal price.
Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for Business | $24 off
This keyboard features a split-key design that helps your hands and wrists rest at a more natural angle. It also has a thick palm rest.
The giant wrist rest of the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for Business should also help my wrists. Right now, my hands are on the metal body of my laptop that's warmed up from a full day of use and the mostly mild English summer "heat."
I don't do a lot of data entry, but the separate number pad could be useful for people who work in Excel or deal with a lot of figures. I also already have a mouse, so I didn't opt for the bundle with one, though there are several options from third-party retailers.
If I had a bigger budget, I'd probably pick up the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard instead. It has built-in Bluetooth, so it doesn't need a dongle. It's also made out of more premium materials and looks a bit better, in my opinion. But the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for Business is an impulse purchase, and the low price is just too good to pass up.
