Only the best stuff.

Prime Day is coming to a close, but that doesn't mean there still aren't great deals to be found. When it comes to laptops, PCs, and general computing, these are the things I would personally buy if I were in the market for something new. These are items I have personally used, and I highly recommend making this post a wee bit extra special if you trust my opinions.

While there are a lot of deals on laptops, including our best 13-inch, best Windows laptops, best overall laptop deals, and best 15-inch deals, these are the ones I would get. There are also a few accessories in there too that I personally enjoy.

Budget quality

HP Envy 13 Laptop | Save $150

While HP's premium Spectre line of laptops gets a lot of love, I prefer Envy. Classic all-metal silver chassis, edge-to-edge keyboard, thin bezels, giant trackpad, and Bang & Olufsen audio make this laptop easy to recommend. The 13-inch size is perfect for portability, there's a webcam kill switch for privacy, and you get the latest Intel 11th Gen Evo certified processor ensuring instant on and long battery life. There's also Wi-Fi 6, a 256GB SSD, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a color-accurate full HD touch display. It all weighs just 2.88 pounds. It's awesome.

Premium power

Razer Blade 15 (2020) | Save $550

Arguably the best deal of all Amazon Prime Day. The Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop has plenty going for it, including an Intel Core i7 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU, and a 120Hz 15.6-inch Full HD display. This deal is the one to get if you are hunting for a portable gaming workstation. This deal seems to fluctuate, but we see it right now for $950, which is a whopping $550 savings off the regular price. You are getting not only serious gaming hardware but one of the best-built, most popular laptops around. If you want a gaming laptop, this is the one to buy. Don't sleep on this one!

Best audio

HyperX Cloud Alpha S | 30% off at Amazon

The HyperX Cloud Alpha S is an incredible PC gaming headset with a great mic, elevated audio, and a robust design. HyperX is just one of those companies you trust as it has a very long history in this field and makes some of the best-sounding and most comfortable headsets around for hardcore PC users. Its dual-chamber design, 7.1 software, bass, and overall soundstage are some of the best we have heard on gaming-focused headphones. With a 30% saving, this might be the best Prime Day deal on a gaming headset.

Mobile gaming

Razer Kishi Mobile Game Controller | 35% off at Amazon

If you have an Android phone and you like to game on it, then the Razer Kishi is your answer. In our review, we said, "no other mobile-gaming controller even comes close," and we mean it. Slap your phone in and hit up Microsoft's cloud gaming, and you're good to go. And fret not if you have an iPhone, as there is a version for that one too. With excellent build quality, well-done buttons, and the ability to fit even the largest smartphones, the Kishi is a must-have for 2021.

Clickity-clack

Razer Huntsman Mini 60% | 25% off at Amazon

When it comes to keyboards, the 60% size is the ultimate in minimalism. Perfect for gamers who push the keyboard at an angle to use the mouse more aggressively or for typists who want a clean space without the number pad. In my review, I found it to be one of the best keyboards around thanks to the optical switches (clicky or linear), options for black or white colorway, replaceable Doubleshot PBT keycaps, and a removable Type-C cable. Just a pure joy to use and perfect for the modern PC gamer or writer.

Pro mousing

Razer Basilisk Ultimate + Dock | 45% off at Amazon

One of the coolest mice I own and use every day at my desk: the Razer Basilisk Ultimate + charging dock. This mouse features a 20,000 DPI optical sensor, has an ergonomic design with a thumb-wing, onboard profiles, is completely wireless, and has adjustable scroll resistance. Even if you don't play games, this is just a great, high-precision, super-comfortable mouse with awesome RGB lighting. The charging stand mount ensures that after each day of usage, you'll never have to worry about the batteries dying — and it looks super rad. Our biggest complaint? It's too expensive. But it being 45% off right now fixes that problem.

Go wide big time

Sceptre Curved 49-inch Gaming Monitor | 38% off at Amazon

There are gaming monitors, and then there is the Sceptre Curved 49. With a 49-inch wingspan, QHD (5120x1440) resolution, and 120Hz refresh, you're getting the equivalent of two 27-inch QHD displays in one. You get custom settings for gaming, built-in speakers, and 120Hz refresh making this one fun desktop monitor that won't set you back thousands. My only recommendation? Make sure you have enough desk space!

$800 (was $1,300) at Amazon

Prime Day

If I had to pick one from this list, it would be the Razer Blade 15. That price for that hardware is just unmatched right now. Razer is known to be top-tier designers of premium hardware and awfully expensive compared to the competition. It is often worth it because they eschew the cheap, plastic, corny gamer look with flared vents and weird designs. But at $550 off for a 2020 laptop coming in under $1,000, it's too good to pass up today.

Be sure to keep an eye on our other Amazon Prime Day roundups, and let me know if you grab anything.
