The 13-inch HP Spectre x360 has long been one of our top picks when it comes to any laptop on the market today, and indeed it sits second only to the incredible Razer Book 13 in our roundup of the best 13-inch laptops. What makes it so good? A high-end convertible design, compact footprint, excellent keyboard and audio, and outstanding value all come to mind.
And that outstanding value is made even better during Prime Day thanks to sales over at HP. Instead of paying the full $1,050 price for this configuration, you'll instead pay just $900. That's a $150 discount on a stellar laptop.
HP Spectre x360 13 | $150 off at HP
This model includes an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and 13.3-inch FHD touch display. Get it on sale straight from HP, and even adjust the configuration as budget allows.
When the biggest drawback of a convertible laptop is that it still uses a 16:9 aspect ratio, you know it's nearly perfect. Indeed a 16:10 aspect ratio would be appreciated, but what you do get is nothing to balk at. The 13.3-inch FHD touch display has excellent color, it's compatible with an active pen for inking (included in the price), and it has slim bezel for a modern look. An anti-reflective coating cuts down drastically on glare, and it hits 400 nits brightness. The screen rotates around 360 degrees for tablet mode and easier inking.
If you type all day you'll have no issue with the keyboard, and the audio is also excellent (especially for a laptop this size). The touchpad is large enough for easy productivity, and you get a truly modern port selection with dual Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, and 3.5mm audio. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 are included for modern wireless connectivity. An IR camera for Windows Hello adds security.
Performance hardware includes an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, perfect for productivity work. As for battery, expect up to 10 hours from a charge. Not bad at all.
