Nothing's more fun than playing a bad guy, and Ubisoft is bringing back some of its greatest villains.
What you need to know
- Far Cry 6's Season Pass will let you play as past villains like Vaas, Pagan, and Joseph.
- The Season Pass will also include the fan-favorite Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
- Far Cry 6 releases on October 7, 2021.
Ubisoft showcased more of Far Cry 6 during its E3 2021 press conference, and one of the most interesting pieces of information was what the Season Pass will bring. It looks like Vass, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed are making a return... somehow.
Players who purchase the Season Pass will also be treated to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, a standalone 80s-themed expansion that released back in 2013. Parodying classic action films, Blood Dragon saw players toke on the role of a cybernetic super soldier investigating an agent gone rogue. As you can expect, things don't go as planned. It became an instant hit after it released, so it's awesome to see it return here.
Giancarlo Esposito stars in Far Cry 6 as Anton Castillo, the dictator of the fictional island of Yara, inspired by Fidel Castro's Cuba. As he raises his reluctant son to rule, you'll play as a freedom fighter hoping to topple his regime.
Far Cry 6 is set to release on October 7, 2021 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, Amazon Luna, and Stadia.
