The laptop will launch in July with a starting price of $749. HP highlights that it should be able to upgrade to Windows 11 when the operating system rolls out later this year.
The Pavilion Aero 13 is an AMD-exclusive, meaning you will only be able to order it with Ryzen processors. HP explains that the AMD Zen 3 chips inside the laptop "deliver impressive performance and battery life." The company promises up to 10.5 hours of battery life, though that will vary in the real world based on usage.
The laptop is HP's first 13.3-inch laptop with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which allows it to present more content on the screen at once than16:9 devices. It's also the first Pavilion laptop with a 90% screen-to-body ratio.

The Pavilion Aero 13 will be available in four colors, pale rose gold, warm gold, ceramic white, and natural silver.
Alongside the Pavilion Aero 13, HP announced the HP M24fwa FHD Monitor (24-inch) and HP M27fwa FHD Monitor (27-inch). Both monitors feature HP Eye Ease and Eyesafe certified technology and deliver 99% sRGB color quality. Each monitor also supports AMD FreeSync. The HP M24fwa FHD Monitor and HP M27fwa FHD Monitor will be available in July starting at $230 and $290, respectively.
