New laptops from Acer with the latest specs have been announced.

What you need to know

  • Acer has unveiled new ConceptD laptops for 2021.
  • Featuring Intel 11th-gen, RTX graphics, and more.
  • Availability begins in August.

Acer has unveiled a whole batch of new laptops in its ConceptD range that bring with it the latest specs, including Intel 11th-Gen H-series processors, RTX 30 series graphics, up to 64GB RAM, and much more. Acer is updating its ConceptD 3 and Concept D3 PEzel Convertible, CondeptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro, and ConceptD 7 Ezel and Concept D 7 Ezel Pro.

ConceptD 5 series

The ConceptD 5 series features an all-metal design and a display size of 16-inches with a 3K resolution, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It can be configured with up to 2TB PCIe storage and 64GB RAM, and the Pro model can be had with NVIDIA RTX A5000 or RTX A3000 series GPUs in addition to an RTX 3060.

ConceptD 7 series

The ConceptD 7 series is Acers flagship for this lineup, featuring a 15.6-inch display at 4K resolution, up to 32GB RAM, and Intel Core i7-11800H or Intel Xeon W-11955M chips for workstation level performance. You can also get the ConceptD 7 series with an RTX 3080!

ConceptD 3 series

The ConceptD 3 series is Acer's "entry-level" ConceptD line, but that doesn't mean much considering the price and specs list. You get a 1080p 14-inch display, but the same powerful Intel 11th-Gen chips and an RTX 3050.

The ConceptD 5 series launches in the USA in August with prices starting at $1,999, and the ConceptD 3 series will be available from December starting at $1,599. Acer has not provided a release window for the ConceptD 7 series in the USA, but pricing is expected to begin at $2,499.
