What you need to know

  • Acer announced the TravelMate Spin P6 and TravelMate P6 laptops today.
  • Both laptops are built for creators and feature 11th Gen Intel Core vPro processors.
  • The TravelMate P6 (starting at $1,300) and the TravelMate Spin P6 (starting at $1,399) will be available in December.

Acer announced new members of its TravelMate P6 series of laptops. The new TravelMate P6 and TravelMate Spin P6 convertible feature 11th Gen Intel Core vPro processors. They're both thin laptops built for professionals and include features such as displays with 100% sRGB color coverage. Acer claims that the TravelMate P6 gets up to 20 hours of battery life, which should be more than enough for a workday.

The 14-inch FHD displays of the laptops have a 16:10 aspect ratio and wide viewing angles of up to 170 degrees. If you need more privacy, you can reduce the viewing angles to only 90 degrees with Acer Privacy Panel.

The TravelMate Spin P6's display can rotate up to 360 degrees into various modes. It also has a dockable Acer Active Stylus. While the TravelMate P6 isn't as flexible, it does have a 180-degree hinge for easier content sharing.

Both new TravelMate laptops are also durable, meeting MIL-STD 810H military-grade standards for durability. They feature magnesium-aluminum alloy bodies and Corning Gorilla Glass touchpads and displays.
