The Inspiron 13, 14, and 15 all have adaptive thermals to manage power consumption. They also each have a lid-open sensor and optional fingerprint reader that supports Windows Hello. Each of the laptops supports ExpressCharge, which can recharge a laptop up to 80% in 60 minutes.

As the name suggests, the Inspiron 14-2-in-1 is a convertible tablet that can flip around into different postures, including laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes.

The Inspiron 16 Plus has a 16-inch form factor, which is new to the Inspiron lineup. Its display has a 16:10 aspect ratio. The Plus in the laptop's name isn't just about the size of its body and display. It will have the latest Intel Core H-series processors, optional NVIDIA GTX or RTX discrete graphics, and a thermal management system that should handle heavy workloads.

Dell is also working to improve the environmental impact of its Inspiron lineup. 100% of the painted parts in the new Inspiron laptops use low volatile organic compound waterborne paint. The packaging tray for the lineup is made of 100% recycled materials, and the rest of the packaging components are made of up to 90% recycled materials.
