Chivalry 2 is now available to pre-buy - with a perk.

What you need to know

  • Chivalry 2 is the intense follow-up to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, which lets players unleash their inner Knight.
  • Now, Chivalry 2 is available to pre-order ahead of its full launch on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC later this year.
  • Players who pre-order Chivalry 2 on any platform will gain access to a Closed Beta starting April 23 to April 26, 2021.
  • There are also two new trailers available to watch that go over the two different factions in Chivalry 2, the Agatha Knights and the Mason Order.

Chivalry 2 is the highly-anticipated follow-up to the 2012 PC game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Today, Tom Banner Studios has announced that pre-orders are now live for Chivalry 2 on Xbox (and PlayStation from some retailers), letting players pre-buy the game before its release sometime later this year. Anyone who pre-orders the game will also get a wonderful perk: guaranteed access to the Closed Beta for Chivalry 2 beginning on April 23, 2021.

Chivalry 2 is almost a Medieval-combat simulator, letting players partake in largescale battles and sieges, intense first-person melee combat, and in-depth character customization. With an expanded release and full cross-play support across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, Chivalry 2 has everything it needs to succeed. If you pre-order Chivalry 2 on any platform, you'll be able to participate in the cross-play Closed Beta from April 23 at 10:30 a.m. ET through April 26, 2021 at 10:30 p.m. ET.

There are also two new trailers for Chivalry 2, which go over the motivations behind the two warring factions in the game, the Agatha Knights and the Mason Order. You can check out the two new trailers below:

The Mason Order

Chivalry 2 will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC (through the Epic Games Store at first). The game is set to release on June 8, 2021. Be sure to pre-order Chivalry 2 through your platform of choice to gain access to the Closed Beta starting next month.

Nothing is guaranteed yet, but if Chivalry 2 delivers on its promises and scratches the itch for players seeking Medieval-style combat, Chivalry 2 could join our list of best Xbox games.

Chivalry 2 is the hyped follow-up to a game that took the PC gaming world by storm in 2012. Now, in 2021, players will be able to hack and slash their way through Chivalry 2 on their platform of choice. With pre-orders now available, players can also claim their spot in Closed Beta coming in April.
