The latest NVIDIA Studio Driver adds support for AI features that help creators and artists. Adobe's Super Resolution, improvements to DaVinci Neural Engine, and AI-powred denoising in Blender are among the newly supported features. NVIDIA outlines the newly supported features in a recent news post.
Enhance Images is a feature in Adobe Lightroom that utilizes machine learning to improve image quality. According to NVIDIA, it runs up to five times faster on NVIDIA GPUs. A division of that feature, called Super Resolution, is already in Adobe Camera Raw and is coming to Lightroom and Lightroom Classic this summer. Super Resolution can enlarge a 10-megapixel photo into a 40-megapixel photo to make it better for printing. The feature works 27 times faster with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 than on a CPU with integrated graphics.
Several AI features in Photoshop are supported with the latest NVIDIA Studio Driver. The new Smart Portrait feature lets you change facial characteristics, such as gaze, which way someone is facing, and lighting angles.
The latest NVIDIA Studio Driver can take advantage of the new features in Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve 17. The latest version of Davinci Resolve has several AI features, like Smart Reframe, Scene Cut Detection, and Scene Edit Detection.
You can also use AI-powered denoising in Blender, thanks to the new NVIDIA Studio Driver.
