In a new announcement on Twitter, Destiny 2 developer Bungie has disabled the pinnacle PvP activity Trials of Osiris due to the reemergence of a match-fixing exploit that allows players (via use of the Fireteam Rejoin functionality) to trade wins with one another to get a Flawless Trials card and go to The Lighthouse for pinnacle loot. This exploit was thought to be patched already, but it appears that players have found a new way to execute the exploit. Bungie stated that the fix for this issue may not be deployed until March 23, 2021, which means that Trials may be disabled for another weekend too.
Will be working with the team to ensure rewards aren't missed this season due to the delays. Definitely want players to have chances for the Handcannon in lower win areas, not to mention Messenger Adepts up for grabs.

Bungie has also announced that players who already have a Flawless Trials card can still go to The Lighthouse to claim their pinnacle loot, and players will also be able to exchange any earned Trials Tokens with Saint-14 in The Tower for the rest of the week until the weekly reset at March 16, 2021 at noon.
Lastly, Bungie has confirmed that the studio is working to ensure that players will have ample opportunity to earn Trials gear this season despite the delays. It's unclear what this means exactly, but we're sure that Bungie will provide more details soon.
