Gaming chairs can often get very expensive, especially if you're looking to get one of the best gaming chairs available. One such chair is the Anda Seat Captain America Edition gaming chair, which features a staggering MSRP of $530. This price made me do a double take when I was initially approached to review it, but after testing it out for a few weeks, I can confidently say that the chair is worth the cost if you're a Marvel super-fan and you're in the market for a top-of-the-line gaming chair.
However, you'll probably be better off going with other options if you're not incredibly passionate about Marvel comics for the MCU.

Bottom line: The Anda Seat Captain America Edition gaming chair is an absolute beast of comfort and style, but it's hard to recommend to anyone other than diehard Marvel fans due to its price.

Anda Seat Captain America chair: What I like
By far, the best thing about the Anda Seat Captain America Edition gaming chair is how comfortable it is. Outfitted with thick, airy AD mold foam that's covered by high-quality PVC leather, every inch of the chair is designed to be both incredibly supportive and unbelievably comfortable. In addition to this, the chair also comes with lumbar support and a neck pillow, both of which are fully detachable.
I found that the lumbar support enhanced my experience with the chair, but if you tend to feel more comfortable without supports like this, the fact that you can take it off is nice. The armrests feel great too, as they have just enough texture on them to prevent your arms slipping off of them all the time, yet are still smooth enough to make arm or wrist adjustments comfortable and easy to make.
Secondly, the chair is also very adjustable. It has a tilt angle of up to 160 degrees, and you can lock the chair at any angle you want. You can also adjust the height of the seat by quite a bit, which means that pretty much everyone can sit in it comfortably.
Notably, the armrests are also fully 4D, meaning that you can adjust them left and right, forwards and backwards, and upwards and downwards. Additionally, you can also swivel the armrests as well. This ensures that you'll be able to find and use the position that best suits you easily.
Another thing that makes the Anda Seat Captain America Edition chair so good is how sturdy and durable it is. The entirety of the frame and base is made out of metal, and the PVC leather that covers the chair is scratch and tear-resistant. Considering chairs of this caliber cost hundreds of dollars, they need to be built to last. Thankfully, this one is.
Finally, from a stylistic point-of-view, the design of the chair is superb. I really like how the chair's navy blue coloration and red and white accents sell the theme of Captain America's outfit without being too "loud." This is something I greatly appreciate since I tend to dislike overly-vibrant colors in general, especially on furniture. Anda Seat also includes a cool Captain America-themed floor mat in the box, which pairs nicely with the chair.
Anda Seat Captain America chair: What I don't like
The only thing about the chair itself that I'm not a fan of is how firm the pillow is. I prefer my pillows to be on the softer side, so I found that the pillow on the Captain America chair was uncomfortable. However, this is obviously highly subjective, and the pillow may be a perfect fit for your needs.
Another thing I don't like about the chair is how pricey it is. At its $530 MSRP, it's difficult to recommend the chair to anyone that isn't a diehard Marvel fan when there are less expensive options available on the market that offer a comparable sitting experience. It's definitely worth the money if you are a super-fan, though.
The competition
When it comes to the best gaming chairs, Anda Seat's biggest competitor is Secretlab. We love Secretlab here at Windows Central, and we consider the Secretlab 2020 Series line of chairs to be some of the best ever made (I even use one of their Titan chairs on a daily basis). Overall, if you're not a fan of the Anda Seat Captain America chair, I highly recommend going with a Secretlab seat instead.
If you'd prefer to stick with Anda Seat, both the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition and the Anda Seat Kaiser 2 are superb chairs that any gamer will love.

The Anda Seat Captain America Edition chair is no doubt one of the best gaming chairs I've ever had the pleasure of using, featuring supreme comfort, awesome adjustability, excellent durability and a tasteful design that's very stylish. I may not personally like the pillow's firmness, but others likely will. Overall, the chair itself is superb.
The only real caveat here is that the premium pricing will most likely be a little too premium for most people. The chair is fantastic, but you can get a Secretlab chair or even one of Anda Seat's non-Marvel themed chairs that offer a comparable experience for a considerably lower price. I only recommend picking up the Captain America chair (or any of the other Marvel chairs) if you're a passionate Marvel fan at heart.
