The latest Madden game from EA Sports, Madden NFL 21, is being added to EA Play in just a few weeks, as the publisher has confirmed that the subscription service will get the game on March 2.
Along with the game itself being added to the service, EA Sports has also confirmed in a new Xbox Wire post that EA Play members will get three Gold Team Fantasy packs in the games Madden Ultimate Team mode every month. EA Play Pro subscribers will get six packs every month, giving players new to the mode the chance to get a jumpstart on building their team.
For those who may not have EA Play, EA is offering a special membership rate, with an a 99-cent introductory offer currently taking place now through March 9. During a recent earnings call, EA revealed that the service has seen a huge uptick in users, recently growing to almost 13 million players total, largely in part to the service being included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
While the service is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC as a subscription service, those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate have it bundled in with the monthly cost, making Game Pass an even more attractive bundle for players. With games like Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and the next Battlefield entry also planned to hit the service, EA Play continues to look like an even better option for those who want to have access to a wide variety of titles.
