Microsoft unveiled the upcoming Pulse Red Xbox wireless controller earlier this month. Now, you can preorder the controller from Amazon.
The Xbox Series X/S controller is currently available in Carbon Black, Robot White, and Shock Blue. The addition of Pulse Red adds some more pop to the Xbox controller lineup. It has a bright red front and a white back in a similar design layout to the Shock Blue controller.
The Pulse Red Xbox wireless controller is the newer design that came out with the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, but it's backwards compatible with the Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and Xbox One. The controller has a share button, improved shoulder buttons, a revamped d-pad, and uses USB-C. It also has some other welcome improvements, such as textured grips on the triggers. In select markets, the Pulse Red Xbox wireless controller also comes with a 14-day free trial of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Microsoft's announcement post for the Pulse Red controller states that it will be available starting on February 9, 2021. The Amazon listing currently states that it will be released on February 23, 2021, so you may have to wait a couple of extra weeks.
