Update, January 20 (9:50 a.m. ET): Fall Guys publisher, Devolver Digital, has stated it has no plans to bring the title to Xbox Game Pass at this point in time.
Fall Guys proved a breakout hit with its last-man-standing spin on game shows like Takeshi's Castle and Wipeout, among last year's top releases. It launched on PlayStation 4 alongside Windows PCs, with its day-one inclusion with PlayStation Plus subscriptions propelling its reach to millions. Today, it remains prevalent, with the tease of its imminent debut on Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
Confirmation of Fall Guys on Xbox Game Pass comes via the service's official Instagram page, where a spokesperson teased the title as a future inclusion. The specifics around its arrival remain relatively unclear, but it suggests expanding to Xbox consoles, following its deal with Sony back in 2020. It's also worth noting that Xbox Game Pass also co-exists on Windows PCs, which may instead provide the first opportunity to access the game without a standalone purchase on the platform.
Fall Guys would join several heavyweights recently joining the Xbox Game Pass roster, with Among Us also making its Xbox Game Pass PC debut in December, with an Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S variant to follow sometime in 2021. That accompanies over 100 titles available through the subscription services on their respective platforms, starting from $10 per month.
