I guess Takemura actually wants to talk now.
What you need to know
- Cyberpunk 2077 is an ambitious open-world sci-fi RPG from CD Projekt RED.
- The game delivers on much of its ambition but arrived in a deplorable state, filled with bugs and issues.
- CDPR has committed to fixing the game with post-launch updates and is releasing the 1.11 hotfix update today.
- This update fixes two issues introduced in the last patch, 1.1, one of which prevented players from progressing any further.
Cyberpunk 2077, as promised, is slowly delivering patch updates that begin to resolve the mess of bugs and issues currently plaguing CD Projekt RED's latest and most ambitious title. Cyberpunk 2077's 1.1 patch update released to players on all platforms last week with a solid number of fixes and improvements, but it actually introduced a brand-new game-breaking bug that was actively preventing players from progressing through the main story.
Today, CDPR is dropping the much smaller 1.11 hotfix update that includes two fixes for issues introduced in the last update.
Hotfix 1.11 is available on PC, consoles and Stadia!

This update restores item randomization and fixes a bug which affected some users’ holocall with Takemura in Down on the Street quest.

Prior to the large 1.1 update, the main story quest "Down on the Street" had a "Wait for Takemura's call" objective, but Takemura had a chance of simply...never calling. In the 1.1 update, CDPR fixed this issue, and Takemura is now guaranteed to call, but he now has a chance of breaking the game by not having any dialogue and not allowing players to exit the conversation or interact with any other NPCs. Not exactly the fix for which players were looking.
Without further ado, here's the full changelog for Cyberpunk 2077's 1.11 hotfix update:
- Item randomization has been restored to the previous state
- The save / load loot exploit will be investigated further
- A bug in "Down on the Street" quest has been fixed
- It occurred for some players during a holocall with Takemura, when using a save made on version 1.06 with "Down on the Street" quest in progress at "Wait For Takemura's call" objective. After loading such a save on version 1.1, the holocall would lack dialogue options and block interactions with other NPCs
The update is rolling out right now to all platforms, including Xbox, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and PS5.
