The Samsung Galaxy Book S (Intel) is on sale for $200 off ahead of Black Friday. The thin-and-light laptop delivers up to 17 hours of battery life and utilizes Intel Hybrid Technology. Following its discount, you can grab the Galaxy Book S starting at $750.
The Intel Hybrid Technology inside the Galaxy Book S is built to deliver good battery life without sacrificing performance. The laptop has a body that's only 11.8 mm (0.46 in) at its thickest point. It's also exceptionally light at just 960 grams (2.1 lbs).
There are two versions of the Galaxy Book S; an ARM-powered version that we reviewed earlier this year, and the Intel version that's currently discounted. The ARM version of the Galaxy Book S has a longer battery life listed (23 hours vs 17 hours), but some might not like the fact that it has app limitations. In contrast, the Intel version of the Galaxy Book S can run apps without any limitations and still gets up to 17 hours of battery life.
Note that on Samsung's website, you won't see the deal price until you click the "Buy Now" button and then select "Continue." Samsung's site will offer you a lower price if you trade in an eligible device, but if you select to just by the Galaxy Book S, you'll see its sale price of $750.
