Hopefully information about the encounters remains hidden.
What you need to know
- Destiny 2 players have successfully managed to get into the Deep Stone Crypt raid level on Europa by breaking out of the map.
- The raid encounters are not active, but players have been able to explore nearly every area within the raid.
- If details about how the encounters work are discovered, it may jepoardize the integrity of the World's First raid race on November 21.
A full week prior to the raid's release on November 21, a group of Destiny 2 players from the r/raidsecrets subreddit have managed to break into the Deep Stone Crypt raid area on Europa early. This was achieved through use of exploits to get out of the map and then go back into it in the raid areas. The video below details everything players have been able to discover so far (I won't spoil anything in this article).
Players haven't been able to figure out how the raid's encounters specifically work yet, but if they do, it will be a problem since a huge part of what makes Destiny raids so special is that there's a World's First race when the raid comes out as various teams of players compete to see who can finish the raid first. If people are able to learn how to do the raid before it releases, it will make the World's First race a lot less exciting. Overall, we'll have to wait and see what happens, but for now it's cool that people have managed to get an early look at where fireteams are headed on November 21.
