The Surface Pro X is more affordable than ever.
The Surface Pro X is easily the most delightful Windows 10 tablet out there, and there's some good news if you've been looking to pick one up. Microsoft has dropped the price of the Surface Pro X by $200. That makes it incredibly hard to resist if you've been looking for a slim and sleek tablet that can also act as a laptop.
The Surface Pro X model on sale is the configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That's the base model, which normally retails for $1,000. However, this Prime Day has even extended to Microsoft's storefront, meaning you'll only have to shell out $800.

Microsoft Surface Pro X
The thinnest and lightest Surface Pro available
Surface Pro X is the most exciting Surface yet. The sleek device features an incredibly thin design in matte black with thin borders and the same 3:2 aspect ratio you've come to expect from a Surface. It's also the first Surface built on ARM, complete with LTE and great battery life.
The Surface Pro X is one of our favorite Surface devices, and it's easily the best Windows 10 tablet you can get your hands on. It's incredibly portable, making it easy to toss in your bag on-the-go. The 13-inch PixelSense screen is also a joy to use thanks to its taller 3:2 aspect ratio.
The processor powering the whole thing is the Microsoft SQ1, which is a customized version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx. That means you get plenty of battery life, LTE connectivity, and a pretty efficient little system.
I've been using the Surface Pro X as my daily work machine for eight months and it's been one of the best little laptop replacements I've ever used. The OS is zippy, the portability is awesome, and its looks are sleek and sexy (if that matters to you).
With $200 off its usual price, that also makes it much easier to justify buying the Surface Pro X Type Cover, making it a complete laptop experience. Just don't wait around — it's not clear if this deal will be available for much longer.
