High-quality HyperX battery charging on the cheap.

Let's face it. Most third-party Xbox accessories take a dive in the quality department. Does it always have to be this way? HyperX is among the few manufacturers that say "NO!"

The ChargePlay Duo from HyperX is currently on sale for Amazon Prime Day, letting you charge up two Xbox controllers simultaneously, as long as they have battery doors, that is. This is quite easily one of the best Xbox One controller battery solutions out there.

Charge em up

Charge two controllers at the same time with the ChargePlay Duo! This Xbox controller rechargeable gives you two 1200 mAh batteries and a convenient weighty dock for keeping your power banks topped off for long 12-hour gaming sessions.

The ChargePlay Duo works by replacing the standard Xbox controller battery door with a proprietary solution that allows a magnetic charging connector to feed through the back. The supplied batteries come in at 1200 mAh and will give around 10-12 hours on a single charge. It ensures that you have all-day gaming battery life before you drop them back in the dock to charge overnight.

The savings aren't exactly massive, giving you around 15 percent off, but hey. Prime Day is all about wanton spending and saving, so every little helps, right? Maybe? Possibly?

Either way, this is one of the few high-quality charging solutions out there for Xbox controllers, and well worth your time. And yes, they will work with the next-gen Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
