The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are almost upon us, beginning a very exciting new generation of console gaming, and developers are rushing to get their games onto the powerful new consoles the moment they launch. The latest to join the growing list of launch titles for Xbox Series X and S is Evergate, a well-reviewed 2D puzzle-platformer that's already available on Windows PC's and Nintendo Switch, but is now making the jump to traditional livingroom consoles with Xbox.

Evergate is a lovely little game that's usually well-liked by those who play it for its satisfying gameplay and gorgeous soundtrack, but hasn't gotten a ton of attention. On the Xbox Series X, Evergate will play at a very crispy 4K resolution at 60fps, making for a smooth and beautiful experience. We're not certain how the Xbox Series S will perform, but past examples indicate 60fps at around 1440p is very likely.
The launch day for the Xbox Series X and S is November 10, 2020, a day that grows every closer, and so Evergate is launching on the two consoles on the same day.
