Dynabook has a pair of secure laptops for business users.

  • Dynabook announced the Portégé X40-J business laptop.
  • Dynabook announced pricing and availability for the Portégé X30L-J laptop.
  • Both laptops will be available starting in November 2020.

Dynabook announced the Portégé X40-J business laptop today alongside pricing and availability details for its previously announced Portégé X30L-J laptop. Both laptops run on 11th Gen Intel Core processors and feature Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Portégé X40-J starts at $1,300 while the Portégé X30L-J starts at $1,330. Both laptops will be available for purchase in November.

The Portégé X40-J is a 14-inch laptop with modern connectivity and internals. It supports Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) and Thunderbolt 4 through USB-C. You can get the Portégé X40-J with either an FHD IPS display, a multi-touch screen, or a Dynamic Privacy Screen.

The laptop's display can open 180 degrees to lay flat, which makes it easy to share content in person. Dynabook states that the laptop gets up to an impressive 13.8 hours of battery life.

The Portégé X40-J is a Secured-core PC and features face and fingerprint recognition for security.

The Portégé X30L-J is a light laptop, coming in at just 906 grams (2 lbs). It has a 13.3-inch Sharp IGZO display and gets 14.9 hours of battery life, according to Dynabook.

The Portégé X30L-J also suports Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) and Thunderbolt 4 through USB-C. Like its Portégé sibling, the Portégé X30L-J is also a Secured-core PC.
