Upgrading a PC — especially a gaming PC — is never a cheap endeavour, but Prime Day deals are making it just that much more affordable. With deals on most hardware needed for a new build, you could theoretically run down this list and have a new PC shipped to you to assemble. Every part should have no issue working together, and really all you'd have to add are a few sweet gaming accessories. Hint: there are a ton of Razer Prime Day deals if you need a new keyboard, mouse, and headset.

Keep in mind, however, that this is a rather high-end PC when put together. You could always nab a few items while they're on sale and save the rest for the next big sale. Black Friday is quite close due to the delay of Prime Day, so expect to see similar prices. Whether that means you wait or just go big right now is up to you. In any case, here are a bunch of Prime Day deals to kickstart your next gaming PC build.

For AMD Ryzen CPUs

GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Elite | $49 off at Amazon

This motherboard is the one you want if you're going with an AMD Ryzen build (which is really the way to go these days). It's ready for PCIe 4.0, the latest (and older) Ryzen chips, dual M.2 slots with heatsinks, and 14-phase power delivery design, and Intel Gigabit LAN (though no Wi-Fi).

12 Cores, 24 Threads

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X | $69 off at Amazon

The Ryzen 9 3900X CPU is no joke. If it's power you want for your gaming PC, power is what you're going to get. It has 12 cores, 24 threads, and a max boost clock up to 4.6GHz. It's unlocked if overclocking is your thing, and it just so happens to come bundled with a cooler. If you are OC'ing, though, you might want to go with something a bit more robust.

$430 at Amazon

NVIDIA RTX Graphics

ZOTAC Mini RTX 2070 Super | $30 off at Amazon

With a CPU like the Ryzen 9, you want something that can keep up. And since RTX 30-series GPUs are so hard to find, the NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super is the next best thing. You get 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM for strong performance with 1440p gaming, and you might even be able to push 4K with some games. Plus it has the benefits of ray tracing and DLSS 2.0.

$500 at Amazon

RGB-Infused Memory

Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB | $20 off at Amazon

Corsair makes some real reliable RAM, like this Vengeance 16GB package (dual 8GB sticks). This is high-performance DDR4-3200MHz stuff, and it's capped off with some RGB lighting. Yes, that's right — even your RAM is going to light up with millions of different color combinations thanks to Corsair iCUE.

$75 at Amazon

Bulk Storage

SK hynix Gold S31 1TB | $55 off at Amazon

SK hynix has just begun its foray into the consumer SSD market, but so far it's been a huge success. The 1TB Gold S31 2.5-inch SATA SSD is a perfect bulk storage solution for your new PC. It's reliable and durable, and perhaps most importantly it's very cheap thanks to a slick Prime Day deal.

$105 at Amazon

Fast Storage

Samsung 970 EVO 500GB | $21 off at Amazon

A 2.5-inch SATA SSD is fine for bulk game storage, but an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD is the right choice for Windows 10 and games that take a long time to load. The Samsung 950 EVO is one of our favorites, and right now you can shave off about $21 for the 500GB option. Seriously; don't skimp on your boot drive for your new PC.

$79 at Amazon

Case With RGB

Corsair iCUE 465X | $10 off at Amazon

You're going to need a case to cram all this new hardware into, and why not make it flashy? The Corsair iCUE 465X is a mid-tower ATX case with a ton of features, including three RGB fans (with room for six more), easy cable management, dust filters, and tempered glass side panel to show it all off.

$140 at Amazon

Can't Forget Power

EVGA SuperNOVA 850W | $10 off at Newegg

A PC without a power supply unit (PSU) is just a case full of expensive hardware. And cheaping out on a PSU is never recommended, which is why we're going with the EVGA SuperNOVA 850W. This has enough power for now and for the future if you decide to upgrade GPU or CPU to something a bit more robust. It's fully modular to cut down on cable clutter.
