What you need to know
- Empire of Sin is an upcoming strategy game from Paradox Interactive, coming to current-gen consoles and PC.
- It's in the same vein as XCOM, Gears Tactics, and more, but set in the 1920's with Mafia-vibes.
- The game has looked quite promising when previewed in the past, but we still don't have any release date information.
- The game has now quietly appeared on the Microsoft Store, complete with some new screenshots for players to view.
Empire of Sin impressed us when we got a closer look at the game at E3 2019, but we haven't heard much about the game since then, other than an estimated "Fall 2020" release window, which could be any time in the next few months, or we haven't been told about any possible delays that have happened. The former seems more likely, fortunately, as Empire of Sin has quietly appeared on the Microsoft Store, indicating that the game can't be too far out from release.
As well as having a new page on the Microsoft Store for the Xbox One, there are also some new screenshots to enjoy of the game. If you're interested, definitely go take a peek at the game's Mafia-inspired art style, as well as an example of how dialog will work in the game, with multiple options provided to the player. We still don't know when Empire of Sin is coming out, but we do know it'll come to Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Switch when it does, giving players plenty of choice on which platform they wish to play on.
If you're interested, you can also bookmark their official website to keep an eye on any new information, but of course we'll be on the lookout for the latest gaming news as well.
