Bug fixes will continue to roll out, too.

What you need to know

  • InExile Entertainment announced today that Wasteland 3 will receive DLC expansions.
  • The developer is currently working on improving load times and dealing with bugs.
  • UI improvements are also in the works.

Wasteland 3 launched to rave reviews and while the tactical RPG is already massive, more is coming. InExile Entertainment studio head Brian Fargo announced on Twitter today that while the developer is currently focused on fixing bugs, optimizing load times, and dealing with other issues, the team plans on also releasing UI improvements and DLC expansions.

The first major patch for the game was released last week and the next one will be coming out towards the end of next week. The updates are focused on resolving crashes and major progress blockers, particularly for Xbox One and PS4 users who have encountered the most stability issues.

The team is also working to correct a problem where co-op players are getting stuck on load screens at 33% that they had initially thought would be fixed with the last patch. InExile has put out a bug bounty for its team and is enlisting players to help replication issues.

Expect more information on the game's content plan to be revealed soon. Until then, you can check out our guide to mastering post-apocalyptic Colorado with your squad of desert rangers.
