Between Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and deepin 20 Releases

Finally deepin 20 released in September this year following Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Both are Free Libre Open Source Software computer operating systems. However, as we know Ubuntu brings many nice features, we celebrate with deepin the brand new look and move towards freedom. This article summarizes both beautiful OSes for everyone. Enjoy!

It is deepin 20 the brand new luxurious operating system. Since long, deepin is the most polished GNU/Linux distro. It is a good news for computer users today as now deepin comes with redesigned DDE user interface and more freedom by switching away from Chrome and WPS into Mozilla Firefox and LibreOffice. deepin OS is a China based operating system developed by Wuhan Deepin Technology which is a member of The Linux Foundation.

Ubuntu "Focal Fossa" Twenty Point Zero Four is the latest and greatest LTS release. It proves its "just works" slogan with its overall satisfying and comfortable experience as modern computer operating system. It features its own latest GNOME user interface mixed with LibreOffice 6 and all applications. Ubuntu is a United Kingdom based operating system developed by Canonical Inc.

Get Computers with Ubuntu and deepin OS

 

Today we are fortunate as many vendors sell computers and laptops with Ubuntu. You can see Dell sell their XPS laptops already with 20.04 LTS. System76 is a long time GNU/Linux based computer vendor also sell PCs and laptops with Ubuntu. Entroware, LaptopWithLinux, and also Star Labs now competing to sell Ubuntu PCs and laptops worldwide. As for deepin OS, there was a news from Forbes and even a review from Gizchina that Huawei offered their MateBook laptops with deepin for Chinese market only (although unfortunately it is unclear now). I hope by this information you can already buy your favorite laptop with your favorite system. Good luck!
