With Microsoft confirming the release date for its next-gen consoles, Ubisoft has bumped up Valhalla a week early on all platforms.

After Microsoft confirmed the release date for its upcoming Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Ubisoft followed suit and bumped up the release date of Assassin's Creed Valhalla to coincide with the next-gen launch.

Microsoft recently revealed that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be launching on November 10, 2020 for $499/$299, respectively. Preorders are set to go up for both consoles on September 22.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla will support Xbox Smart Delivery, so those that purchase the game on Xbox One will get a free upgrade on Xbox Series X/S, and it will run at 4K on the Xbox Series X. It's unclear if Sony or Ubisoft has an upgrade path in mind for the PS4 and PS5.
