This update will arrive at some point in September. Joe Neate, Producer at Rare, talked with IGN about Sea of Thieves, saying that currently "20 to 30%" of the audience comes from Steam. Neate also says that there are "huge plans" for the future of the game and that the next year is the "biggest one yet" with big surprises in store.
Earlier this year, Rare revealed that Sea of Thieves has over 15 million players, with over a million copies sold on Steam since it launched via that platform on June 3. Rare has confirmed there will be Xbox Series X enhancements for Sea of Thieves, though we don't have any details at this time.
