- The RTX 3000 Series will reportedly see major uplifts in performance over the RTX 3000 Series.
NVIDIA's upcoming RTX cards could be just around the corner. Leaks suggest that a new RTX 3000 Series of cards could be announced on September 1, 2020, and now even NVIDIA itself is hinting at its next set of GPUs. At the end of a new video from NVIDIA, the company shows what appears to be the RTX 3090, a new flagship GPU.
The card in the video appears to be the same as a leak of what is reportedly the RTX 3090, as pointed out by The Verge. The card in NVIDIA's video features the same pennant-shaped board and cooling shroud that appears in leaked images of the RTX 3090.
The RTX 3090 also appears to have different power connectors than previous cards. Leaks suggest that NVIDIA is swapping over to a 12-pin connect rather than using two eight-pin connectors.

NVIDIA's RTX 3000 Series of cards could see major boosts in performance over NVIDIA's existing lineup if leaks prove accurate. Leaks from earlier this summer suggest potentially a 30 percent performance uplift when compared to cards in the RTX 2000 Series.
