Hellblade just got a serious upgrade on Project xCloud!
What you need to know
- Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a third-person action game from Ninja Theory.
- Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is currently being developed by the studio.
- The original game got touch controls on Project xCloud today.
- Project xCloud game streaming will be part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in September.
Recently, Microsoft announced that Project xCloud game streaming would be part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in September. To gear up for the launch, it seems like the service is getting on-screen touch controls sooner rather than later.
Today, many users on Reddit and Twitter noticed that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice now features touch controls on Project xCloud for Android devices. Windows Central's Jez Corden was able to confirm this. You can take a look at the screenshot he provided below.
It seems like the touch controls only are available for Hellblade at the moment, but we've heard that Gears 5 is in testing at the moment. It'll be interesting to see how many games support touch controls when the service launches in September. Microsoft has advertised games like Cuphead with touch controls in the past.
Are you part of the Project xCloud Preview? Which games do you usually play on the service, if you do? Let us know.
