What you need to know
- Grounded is the latest game from Obsidian Entertainment, and it's currently in early access.
- To help the community keep track of the team's plans and what they're working on, they announced some changes in a community update.
- Two of these changes are now live, with a feature roadmap and a community Trello board available right now.
- The feature roadmap goes over planned changes and features, while the Trello board keeps track of bugs and issues, and their status.
Grounded is already a fantastic game, but it's far from perfect. The game is currently in Early Access and Game Preview, so it's undergoing a lot of changes before it officially releases. It's first content update just arrived, but there's still a lot of work to do. To help with this process, the team behind Grounded announced some upcoming changes in their last community update. Two of these changes are now live.
To start off, Grounded now has a community Trello board that can be used to keep track of known issues and bugs with Grounded, as well as follow along with the community on workarounds, incoming fixes, and Grounded updates. If you're actively participating in the early access for Grounded, definitely bookmark this site.
Grounded also finally has a feature roadmap, which can be used to track future updates and planned features for this microscopic survival game. A lot of what's currently on the feature roadmap actually appeared in our "next content update" speculation for the August content drop, but there are some other goodies here too.
It's great that the team behind Grounded continues to look for more ways to make this process easier both for them and for the community, and these kind of community-focused features are a great way to do so. Are you happy to see a feature roadmap or community Trello board for Grounded? Is there something else you think the team needs to do? Let us know in the comments below!
