In a new post on the Xbox Wire, Psyonix's Editorial Manager Max Parker went into detail on some of the new events, including the ability for players to start earning Balloons, which they can then redeem for Psyonix and Rocket League-themed items in the game's Event Store. Players can earn balloons by playing Online Matches, and some of the prizes in the store include new wheels, a party horn boost, and some special remixed items from the history of Rocket League.
The new event also comes with a handful of new Limited Time Modes, with Spike Rush returning to the game this week, and 2v2 Heatseeker available from July 6-13. Throughout their matches, players will also have the chance to find Golden Eggs, which will contain various items from all four of Rocket League's Champions Series. If you've been looking for a reason to get back into Rocket League, this new anniversary event is it.
