The pre-show for the Xbox Games Showcase has already started off with a strong start, featuring two new game reveals from third-party studios. One of those reveals is EXOMECHA, a new game from developer TwistedRed that combines sci-fi first-person shooter fun with a range of destructive vehicles and a variety of huge mechs.
The World Premier of the title was an intense but short trailer that showed gorgeous landscapes and mechs that obviously take inspiration from fantasty fiction with dragons, knights, and more. The game will have large-scale team-based battles, a battle royale mode, and objective based game modes (like Rainbow Six Siege). Apparently there will even be boss bottles, likely referring to that ferocious dragon you see at the end of the trailer.
EXOMECHA will be free-to-play when it lands on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in 2021. There's a way to sign-up for the beta on their website if the game has caught your interest. We're definitely keeping our eyes on this game, and we'll be looking out for more information as it comes.
