Frostpunk is a city-building, survival, and strategy game that's quite popular on PC. In a frozen world, people develop steam-powered machines to oppose the overwhelming cold. You, the city ruler, have to manage both the inhabitants and the infrastructure. Leaders face numerous challenges, frequently questioning morality and the basic foundation of what we consider as a society.
Today, 11 bit studios revealed that the game's mysterious Project TVADGYCGJR is actually a third expansion called On The Edge. Keep in mind that this is the final expansion for Frostpunk's Season Pass and is set after the vicious Great Storm as the expedition is sent from New London with a special assignment. Accoridng to the team, On The Edge not only opens a brand new chapter set in the Frostpunk universe, but also further enriches the core experience by pitting players against new challenges, and offering new unique mechanics both in the city and on the Frostland map.
Frostpunk: On The Edge is coming to Steam this summer and will feature a brand new story, new challenges on a desolate map, as well as unique mechanics. Frostpunk: Console Edition is the Xbox One port that features controller support so you can enjoy the experience on consoles. We thought that without a mouse and keyboard, the game would be hard to play, but that's not the case at all.
